DEVELOPMENT PLAN
HABITATS:
Brief description of different habitats (Ecotone, steppe, forest, watering places, etc.)
 
STATUS OF THE BIRDS:
Establishment of a scale with the range of probabilities of observing different species of birds on the estancia, within the common parameters: common, scarce and rare (or not seen). This scale should include the time of the year, since an important percentage of the birds migrate north. GPS points on the estancia can be given for places where certain species can be seen, depending on their status.
IDENTIFICATION OF SPECIES IN THE FIELD:
Description of main characteristics: flight patterns, onomatopoeic song, etc. Setting up of birdfeeders and drinking receptacles in strategic places (to be maintained by personnel from the estancia). Offer to guide clients on birdwatching trips in the estancia and surroundings. Objective: To promote knowledge and conservation of species on the estancia. Enrich guest experiences with informative material.


MATERIALS PROVIDED



BIRD LISTS: 
Names in Latin, with English and Spanish common names of the birds sighted. Within the list the following will be highlighted: “ENDEMIC BIRDS” of Patagonia (which are only found in Patagonia), “MIGRATORY BIRDS” (which are not found throughout the entire year or which migrate from high areas), “RESIDENT BIRDS” (which can de found throughout the whole year. “PARTIAL MIGRATORS”  (only part of the population migrate). 

PHOTOGRAPHY:
Ring bound notebook with high standard bird photographs in 20 x 30 cm or 30 x 45 cm. Scientific names and common names in both English and Spanish. Each species will be dealt with systematically, with a general description for each genus. The front cover will have a photograph of an endemic species or of the estancia, plus name and logo of the estancia. The back cover will have a short résumé of the authors.
